Greatfulness

I am greatful to the universe that provides all those wonderful and sometimes challenging opportunities for me to learn. I am greatful for my tribe of family members and friends for adding love and texture to my life. I am greatful to the people who have learned how to listen and are "present" during conversation. I am greatful for the water that flows from my tap that I can drink. I am greatful to the people in the society around me for helping to create my reality.I am greatful for natural gas and all the people that support the production and distribution that allows my home to be warm while it is -20 C outside. I am greatful to store clerks and others who seem to enjoy their work and take the time to smile while serving me. I am greatful for the huge variety of good and nutritous foods readily available for me to choose and enjoy, I am greatful to the company that made my Yoga mat that adds comfort to my practice. I am greatful to Dr Elliott who fixed my "kinked" ureter that allows the occassional kidney stone to pass without a trip to the hospital. I am greatful to the people who create art and music and the written word for all to enjoy. I am greatful to all those that volunteer even if it is only for a few minutes a month. I am greatful to my employer for providing me with resources to allow me to live comfortably. I am greatful for the story of the East Indian man who wished how to learn to ice skate and tried and tried until he could do it..an inspiration. I am greatful for people with enthusiasm, passion and vision. I am greatful to be alive!
