Inner Rebel

Posted on Jul 24th, 2008 by IAAM2 : Workingthruit IAAM2
From my OSHO exploration this morning:

The rebel "has discovered his own true nature and is determined to live in accordance with it. The eagle is his spirit animal, a messenger between earth and sky.

The Rebel challenges us to be courageous enough to take responsibility for who we are and to live our truth."

Yep-just about sums it up............the sky calls....

I'm searching for my true inner nature, I know I am a rebellious poet;however I am constantly confused by the chattering of my mind.

Peace to You,

Lenny

Hello Lenny,, thank you for your comment……the concept of a “rebellious poet” appeals to me…are you on your journey or have you arrived to a certain degree??
Re the chattering of your mind….it seems by your profile you meditate-are you making progress??
I also see you are a fan of OSHO…..wonderful stuff…
Yours in the Poet Spirit

Hi Graham,

I am going through rough emotional waters, feeling much pain.Numb! Is also how I'd describe my current emotional status.I am a rebellious poet, and have always written poetry which gnaws away at certain people!I write poetry on the A - Z of life, nothing is sacred!
I am also feeling uncertain.I am searching for a “something” to reboot me!I need to look within myself more, and discover the riches that wait for me.I am impatient and need to deal with the why of that.
I adore OSHO!!!I never tire of his words, wisdom and humour!

Love Light Laughter,

Lenny

I recently attended a seminar on alternative building practices-interestingly the presenter provided some insight that I found “hit the spot” and I thought I would share it with you…
Tension is caused by the “gap” between the desired state and the status quo. The way I understand it is “tension” is required to initiate change and as such is beneficial. I find this perspective interesting from the point of view of what causes “tension” in my own life and it is often focused on unmet expectations. I have set myself a desired state (or I have an intrinsic desired state) and for what ever reason things don't come together the way I feel they should. Of course other people impact my desired state by their actions or expectations but I must take full ownership of the tension…
Sometimes I back away from my desired state (compromise?) which puts me more back into the status quo quadrant…if I do this willingly the tension diminishes…to be honest sometimes I set up unrealistic “desires” that can't be supported (at least in the short run) so there has to be a reality check made…
What does this have to do with your comment? What is the level of “tension” in your day to day life? Are there ways of closing the “gap”?
With Blessings
Graham
