How often do you shift gears in life?

Posted on Oct 22nd, 2009 by IAAM2 : Workingthruit IAAM2
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 21, 2009:

Interestingly it doesn't usually happen until I have "painted myself into a corner" and realize instinctually I need to "shift gears" to move on. I sometimes proactively do so and that happens after much deliberation and "fact finding"... Fundamentally I embrace the concept of change and realize the importance of shifting gears when something is no longer working or new horizons beckon.

I like your answer.  Shifting is fine but you know, there is such a thing as an automatic transmission.  You still have to step on the gas and brake however.

Thanks for your comment….it strikes a chord with me for sure…. using the accelerator and brake from time to time is a necessary aspect of moving ahead with this fascinating adventure called life…
