All is Too Quiet in the Neighborhood

It was a beautiful summer night in the neighborhood so I hit our local bicycle path (around 7:30) for a quick spin. I rode for an hour and only saw 2 other people walking on the path and no one riding....I moved into the neighborhood streets-same story. No dog walking, no strolling, no bike riding-hardly anyone on the streets. In fact in one neighborhood I saw no one for about 5 blocks. I guess TV is winning over being out on a beautiful summer night...???
I will admit when I took my dog for a walk around dinner time there were more people around... mainly in their yards- barbecuing ................
As a society I think we are heavily addicted to our electronics.....
